Immigration Law Intake
A bilingual managed intake service built around the operating reality of an immigration law practice: high call volume, Spanish-dominant callers, conflict and duplicate risk, urgency triggers, and the supervision framework that an attorney must remain inside.
Designed for immigration law
Immigration law has an intake problem the rest of the legal industry does not have to the same degree. Many callers prefer Spanish. Many call outside business hours. Many leads are urgent — detention, hearing, removal, deadline. Conflict and duplicate risk is real: the same family member may have called another firm last week. Atendros is built around these specifics.
Capabilities for immigration intake
- Bilingual coverage 24 hours a day. No menus, no language-selection prompt.
- Script-driven intake. The firm’s pre-approved intake questions are asked; answers are captured verbatim. Atendros does not invent matter facts.
- Duplicate & conflict-indicator flagging. Caller name, phone, email, and firm-approved identifiers are checked against firm-provided records. Flags are surfaced to firm staff before any consult is confirmed. Atendros does not make legal conflict determinations.
- Urgency triggers. Detention language, hearing language, court date, ICE contact, minor caller, distress, hostility, and existing-client signals are configured per firm and routed for live handoff within a 15-second escalation target during the firm’s agreed coverage window.
- Hard refusals. “Do I qualify for asylum?”, “What will this cost?”, eligibility, deadline, and strength-of-case questions are not answered — they are redirected to a consult with the attorney.
- All-party-consent recording by design. Calls handled through the service are designed to play a recording disclosure before recording begins and to obtain caller consent where required by law. Per-firm configuration verified before launch.
What Atendros will not do for an immigration firm
- Give legal advice.
- Make eligibility determinations under U.S. immigration law.
- Hold itself out as a notario público, notary public, immigration consultant, DOJ-accredited representative, or paralegal provider.
- Quote fees on behalf of the firm.
- Make legal conflict determinations — flags are routed to firm staff.
- Create an attorney-client relationship.
Supervision framework
Atendros is used as a nonlawyer assistant consistent with the supervision principles of ABA Model Rule 5.3. The firm remains the lawyer of record and retains professional-responsibility oversight; Atendros is contractually responsible for day-to-day operational compliance.
